What is Audiary?
Audiary is an audiobook player for your Audiobookshelf library. It lets you stream or download your audiobooks, track your listening progress, and enjoy your books with CarPlay.

Audiobookshelf is a free, open-source audiobook server you can host yourself. Learn more at audiobookshelf.org
How do I connect to my server?
- Open Audiary
- Enter your server URL (e.g., https://audiobooks.example.com)
- Enter your username and password
- Tap "Connect"

Why can't I connect to my server?
- Check your server URL is correct
- Ensure your server is running and accessible
- Verify your username and password
- Try accessing your server in a web browser first
How do I download books for offline listening?
Open a book, tap the download icon next to each chapter or use "Download All".
How do I use CarPlay?
Connect your iPhone to your CarPlay-enabled vehicle. Audiary will appear automatically on your CarPlay screen.
Where are my statistics stored?
All statistics are stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud to your other devices.
How do I sync my progress across devices?
Progress syncs automatically with your Audiobookshelf server. Preferences sync via iCloud.

App crashes or freezes
- Force quit the app and reopen
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the app
