By using Audiary, you agree to these terms.

Description

Audiary is an audiobook and podcast player that connects to multiple content sources:

  • Personal Audiobookshelf servers (self-hosted)
  • Librivox.org for free public domain audiobooks
  • iTunes and Open Library for book discovery and metadata
  • Local files (MP3, M4B, M4A) imported from your device
  • Podcast RSS feeds for podcast content

The app does not host or provide audiobook or podcast content directly.

Apple Watch and Widgets

Audiary offers a companion Apple Watch app and iOS/iPadOS widgets that extend the main app functionality. These features allow you to control playback and view listening progress across devices. The same terms apply to all platforms and extensions.

Premium Features

Audiary offers optional premium features via in-app purchase:

  • Premium features include: iCloud sync, themes, widgets, advanced statistics, and data export
  • Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription
  • No refunds are available after purchase, as per Apple's App Store policies
  • Premium features are tied to your Apple ID and available on all your devices

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The content you access through your Audiobookshelf server
  • Ensuring you have the legal right to listen to your audiobooks and podcasts
  • Maintaining your server and credentials
  • The podcast content you subscribe to and download

Podcasts

Podcast content is accessed from public RSS feeds provided by podcast creators and distributors:

  • We do not host or control podcast content
  • Podcast availability depends on feed providers
  • You are responsible for the podcast content you subscribe to
  • We are not liable for podcast content, accuracy, or availability

Disclaimer

Audiary is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

  • Content accessed through your server
  • Server availability or performance
  • Data loss on your device or server

Intellectual Property

Audiary and its design are protected by copyright. Audiobook content belongs to their respective owners.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of changes.
